Cabinet Shake-Up Today

The list of ?justify your inclusion? in the new ministerial team to complete President John Agyekum Kufuor?s Cabinet reshuffle will be ready today. As at press time last night, regional ministers and deputy ministers had been lined up to meet President Kufuor one after the other to know whether they would make it or not.

Struck by the fear of the unknown, some of the deputies and regional ministers put calls through their friends in the media to find out whether they had an insight into who would make it. All the regional ministers were said to have had their tete-a-tete with the President and their fates had already been determined.

However Daily Guide cannot establish who are making the list. The exercise for the deputy ministers was inconclusive because fatigue was said to have set in, compelling the President to postpone the exercise to today for those who could not have their turn. The ministers? one-on-one encounter with the President replaced the regular Thursday Cabinet meeting, Daily Guide learnt.

Speculations were rife that some of the ministers who have not made adequate impact in the era of ?Positive Change Chapter 2? would be shoved aside. The fates of some of the regional and deputy ministers have already been determined.
