Mr. Williams Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the ‘ailing’ 2012 Presidential Candidate of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), has requested the President of the Ghana Medical Association (GMA), Dr. Kwabena Opoku-Adusei, to organize a psychiatric observation on the NPP Tema East newly-elected Member of Parliament (MP), Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover.
The above information, a close aide of Nana Addo’s hinted The Informer, follows this paper’s Monday story as to how Titus-Glover’s verbal Diarrhoea has exposed the NPP and he, Nana Akufo-Addo, in particular, as regards the decision to object Justice William Atuguba’s presence on a Supreme Court panel hearing the electoral case.
Nana Akufo-Addo’s request, the aide disclosed, is because Titus-Glover’s unguided statement about the NPP objection to Justice Atuguba has embarrassed the party and its supporters.
“In fact, Nana Addo has asked the National Chairman of the party, Mr. Jake Otanka Obetsebi-Lamptey, to immediately call Titus-Glover to order and warn him never to speak on his behalf, or else, he will know the true character of him (Nana Addo), the source further hinted.
“My brother, it is as a result of people like Titus-Glover, Sammy Awuku, Sammy Jinapor , Anthony Karbo and their unguided utterances that caused Nana Addo the last year’s Presidential election”, the aide added, saying, it is time these characters are caged and banned from speaking on behalf of the party, and Nana Addo in particular.
However, Akufo-Addo’s choice of the GMA President is no coincidence, because, he is a well-known supporter and member of the NPP. This is why for the past four years, the GMA has taken an entrenched position against the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the late President John Atta Mills.
As you read this piece, he has issue a warning that doctors would embark on a strike action if certain conditions are not met. This threat, sources at GMA have revealed, was to support Nana Addo and the NPP.

It is said that when one has diarrhoea and it is not cured, it can embarrass him/her in public.
It is in this light that if people get verbal diarrhoea they should always have ways and means of controlling it.
When Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover, the newly-elected New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Tema-East was insulting the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the late President John Evans Atta Mills, Nana Akufo-Addo was always happy, and giving him thumbs up.
Now, the same verbal diarrhea has turned to embarrass the NPP and its failed 2012 Presidential Candidate, Mr. Williams Addo-Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Last Wednesday on Citi FM, Mr. Titus Glover came out to say that the NPP will object to Justice William Atuguba being on the panel to decide whether the NDC can be joined to the petition filed by the NPP.
On Thursday, Titus repeated the vexed issue on Okay FM, and true to his words, when the NPP saw the panel; they asked to be heard in chambers where they complained about one of the judges on the panel.
Even though, the NPP legal team did not mention the name of the particular judge, Mr. Titus-Glover’s verbal diarrhoea, has already exposed the party.
Now; between Thursday and Friday, it came out that if the NPP decided to object Justice William Atuguba only because his cousin, Dr. Raymond Atuguba has been appointed as the Executive Secretary to the President, John Dramani Mahama, there were instances of the whole panel being disqualified on such matters as family connections.
For example, the younger sister of the Chief Justice (CJ), Georgina Theodora Wood is married to Mr. Samuel Atta Akyea, an NPP MP for Abuakwa South and a member of the NPP legal team; and even though, the CJ was not part of the panel, she chooses who should sit on it.
Also, a member of the panel (name withheld for now) was executive member of the NPP in one of the regions. Justice P. Baffoe-Bonnie is a cousin to Mr. Baffoe-Bonnie, the Special Aide to President Mahama.
The Informer can also reveal exclusively, that one member of the panel (name withheld for now) has been divorced, because his NPP credentials have put him in a love affair with a known NPP woman, who runs two famous traditional restaurants (chop bars) in Kumasi.
It is against this background that the NPP led by Nana Akufo Addo, with their “things” in-between their thighs, asked their legal team to withdraw their objection to the panel.
In our subsequent issues, we will reveal how Titus-Glover was to be sent for psychiatric counseling to cure his verbal diarrhoea.
