Even in opposition some appointees of the previous NDC government are displaying arrogance and disrespect to the president.
A case in point is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Youth Enterprise Support(YES)' Derrick Agyei who has dared the sitting president to remove him from his office as the deputy CEO of youth Enterprise Support
YES is a programs introduce by government to support youth who want to do their own business.
Speaking on GHone TV program the deputy CEO of YES criticize the president for sacking persons appointed by the previous government.
"Am  not moving an inch from the place, I dare Akuffo Addo to sack me" he fumed.
Even though a new YES CEO in the person of John Kumah has been appointed but his appointment will take effect on 9 May 2017, a situation which has led many wondering why the case of YES is different from other government department which had their CEOs hand over in few days after the NPP took over government.
The reason behind the John Kumah appointment taking effect from May is not immediately known but close sources say the current CEO, Helga Boadi has begged for more time through the Chief of Staff.
This goes a long way to somehow suggest  the NPP government can not sack Previous government appointees at YES because they have people in government now who are protecting their interestÂ

Even at the display of arrogance and disrespect  to the president, these government appointees are left to work as compared to others who had no balls to threaten the President.
Meanwhile some youths of the governing NPP  who are been infuriated by this incident, express their displeasure in a  Facebook post.Â
Some  have threatened to forcible eject the CEO and her deputy if the government do not rescinds its decision to keep them there till May 2017.
Mr. John Kumah who will take over as CEO of YES has refused to  comment on the issue.
