Bayport Tennis Cup: Sakumono to host VRA

Sakumono Tennis Club will host their counterparts from Akosombo, Volta River Authority Tennis Club in a special friendly tennis game this weekend.

The one-day tourney which will take place on Saturday 24th November 2018, is sponsored by Bayport Savings and Loans and will see some of the best tennis players from Sakumono Tennis Club led by Henry Akwaboa, Sammy Ewool, Frank Eshun, Tina Yamak, Louisa Davies and Eric Owusu.

Whiles the visiting team from VRA Tennis Club will parade a formidable squad also led by Sensational Captain Alfred Okang, Shanu Lamptey, Nii Akwei.

The Rest are Ninja Loko, Paa Kofi Grant, Yaw Akotua, Nana Kum (Boi Alinco), Shanu Lamptey and Serwaa Akoto.

In an interview granted to ghanatennis.org, President of Sakumono Tennis Club Frank Kpanie Addy believes the Sakumono Tennis Courts will be a great place for tennis lovers to be this coming Saturday.

Mr Addy thanked Bayport for sponsoring tourney which will create an avenue for participants to socialize and unwind from their usual busy schedules at work, whiles promoting a healthy lifestyle.
