Accra, July 31, GNA-Nana Yaw Boateng, a Koforidua based national table tennis player, continues to maintain his leadership on the monthly ranking of the Ghana Table Tennis Association (GTTA).
Boateng increased his total points to 132 after winning the sixth national ranking championship held at the Accra Sports Stadium hall over the weekend.
The championship, which is part of the association's programmes for the All Africa Games scheduled for Abuja, Nigeria in October, has Courage Nanevie of the Ghana Navy and Solomon Akunnor of Greater Accra sharing the second place with 125 points each.
Other players on the ranking made available to the GNA Sports are Aikins Acquah (GT. Accra)-121, Joseph Osei (Gt. Accra) -112, Kofi Larbi (GT. Accra)-98, David Mills (GT. Accra)-89, Joe Sam (Tema)-88, Christian Aboagye (Police)-81 and Eric Addo (Tema)-64. The rest are Charles Oppong (Eastern Region)-50, Seth Darko (Ghana National Fire Service)-46, Gama Narh (Central Region)-42, Jacob Allotey (Ghana Navy)-30, Theophilus Nti (Eastern Region) 24 and Raymond Donkor (Ashanti Region)-23.
All the top sixteen players have each featured in all the six championships played so far.
