GTTA gears up for Youth championship

Accra, Feb 23, GNA - The Ghana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) is to hold an emergency meeting in its bid to ensure a successful hosting of the 13th Africa Junior Table Tennis Championship scheduled for Accra from March 27 to April 6.

The meeting is to provide a forum for members of the planning committee to discuss preparations towards the championship. The meeting, scheduled for the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, February 27, is opened to members of the Planning Committee and Chairmen of the various Sub-committees.


Among the members expected to attend the meeting are, Ebo Bartels, Chairman, Frank Appiah Vice Chairman, E.K. Oteng Aboagye secretary, E. Jerry-Knafra, Kwabena Yeboah, Ben Djokoto, Elizabeth Quanyme, Agnes Tetteh, Issaka Amidu and V.A. Arhin all members of the planning commiitee.

The rest are George Painstil in charge of Publicity and Programmes, Berlinda Agbodjan, Awards and Prizes, Sammy Ashie, Facilities and Equipment and Dr Engman in charge of medicals.
