GHANA TABLE TENNIS ASSOCIATION GOES TO CONGRESS

The Ghana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) goes to Congress to elect its National Executive Members. The National Delegate Congress is scheduled for Friday 21st May, 2010 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Media Center of the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium, OSU – Accra.

Positions to be contested for during the elections are as follows:

1. Chairman – (QUALITIES: A Resourceful entrepreneur with rich experience, special vision and interest in table tennis growth and development)

2. Vice Chairman – (QUALITIES: same as Chairman)

3. Treasurer – (QUALITIES: A professional accounts person with good marketing skills)

4. Technical Director – (QUALITIES: A Professional Physical Educator with excellent proficiencyin Para – Table Tennis & Table Tennis rules and capable of formulating good technical policies & programmes for implementation with the support of the Chief Coach)

5. National Women’s programme coordinator – (QUALITIES: A Professional Female Physical

Educator, a Veteran National Table Tennis Player with rich experience in Women Sports and Table Tennis Tournament Organization)

The Secretary General and the Chief Coach of the Association shall be appointed by the National Sports Council and shall be full time officials of the National Sports Council.

Meanwhile, each Regional Table Tennis Associations and GTTA Affiliate Bodies are required to present two delegates with ONE VOTING RIGHT.
