The McDan Tennis Championships have hit the semi-final stage with four games at the centre court of the Accra Sports Stadium.
In the men’s division, Wisdom Adjirago from Ghana, who won gold at the All Africa Games in Congo-Brazzaville in 2015, would be up against compatriot Benjamin Palm in the first of two semi-final ties.
In the second semi-final, Nigeria’s Michael Moses would come up against Joel Meda of Burkina Faso.
In the ladies’ semis, Kate Coleman would play Ghanaian Annette Cruikshank in the first tie before Nigeria’s Sarah Adegoke comes up against Naa McCauley.
The winners of this year’s tourney go home with $1000 as prize money together with other goodies from sponsors.
