Table Tennis Masters scheduled for December

The 2014 Table Tennis Masters competition will come off as planned by the Ghana Table Tennis Association, according to the association’s vice president, Mawuko Afazdinu.

The Masters, which is expected to be held in December, is only for the Top 8 best table tennis players in the country based on the 2014 rankings

Champions, Derrick Abrefa and Cynthia Kwabi for the male and female categories respectively, will be defending their respective titles they won last year.

Vice president, Mawuko Afazdinu says the top 8 championship will be more exciting this year than the previous competition.

“This year’s Top 8 will be fantastic, because we are speaking to some corporate entities to come on board to help us.

“It’s also been a great competition for the best top 8 in the country and we are hoping it will even be bigger than the one we have held in previous years.”
