Accra, July 21, GNA - The Ghana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) would soon come out with a formal league system as part of their efforts to promote the game in the country.

According to Mr Oteng-Aboagye, Akomsombo Textile Limited (ATL) have agreed in principle to sponsor the event and are awaiting the response of the association to put the modalities for the league on course. He said the association is now faced with the general organisation of the league since there are many table tennis clubs across the country who need to be organised.
Mr Oteng-Aboagye noted that even though the clubs are scattered all over the country, some of the Regions might not be able to raise enough clubs for the league, therefore there is the need for a special look at the issue.
