Ghana advance in African Beach Volleyball qualifiers

The national volleyball team was in a superb shape when they brushed aside their opponents from Morocco, Nigeria and Niger in the ongoing African Beach Volleyball World Championship qualifiers in Tunisia on Monday evening.

Led by Edward Seidu Ajanako and Jonathan Scot Sarpong, Ghana was too strong a team for their opponents after they piped Morocco Nigeria and Niger, 2-1, 2-0, 2-0 in the first group matches.

The Ghana team is schedule to take on South Africa and Sierra Leone in their 4th and 5th match and a win will automatically enhance their qualification to the world Championship in May this year.
