A man has been charged with murder after a woman was found stabbed to death in Earl's Court, in south-west London.
Police were called to an address on Old Brompton Road at about 11:15 GMT on Wednesday 10 December. The body of 39-year-old Chinese national, Xiaoqing Ke, was found inside.
Deepak Sandhu, 23, of Newlands Avenue, Southampton, is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Monday.
A second man, aged 47, arrested in connection with the investigation has been bailed pending further inquiries.
Det Ch Insp Wayne Jolley from the Metropolitan Police said: "Our thoughts remain with Xiaoqing's family at this incredibly difficult time.
"While a man has now been charged, our investigation continues, and we urge anyone with information who has not yet spoken to us to come forward."
