Ghanaian media personality and two-time Guinness World Record contender Afua Asantewaa has spoken publicly about her relationship status, clearing up widespread speculation surrounding her marriage.

During a TikTok Live session with Fire Oja, she explained that she is currently separated from her husband, Kofi Owusu Aduonum, but not divorced, as many had assumed.

Addressing the issue directly, she stated, “I am not divorced, we are separated,” putting to rest rumours that had circulated in recent months.

Efua Asantewaa and her husband had drawn public admiration following her rise to prominence in 2023 during her Guinness World Record sing-a-thon attempt, where their close bond was widely noted. However, speculation about their relationship began to grow after her second attempt in 2024, as she shared a series of cryptic posts on social media.
