Arsenal's Thomas Partey Charged with Six Counts of Sexual Offenses

Thomas Partey, a 32-year-old midfielder for Arsenal, has been charged with six counts of sexual offenses, including five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault. The allegations involve three separate women and incidents that reportedly took place between 2021 and 2022.

The charges follow an extensive investigation by the Metropolitan Police Service, which started in February 2022 after police received a report of rape. Detective Superintendent Andy Furphy emphasized that providing support to the women who have come forward remains their priority.

Thomas Partey will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, August 5, 2025. The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has reminded everyone that criminal proceedings are active, and the defendant has the right to a fair trial.
