Held under the theme “Unlocking Opportunities in the Central Region,” the ceremony was chaired by Odeefuo Amoakwa Buadu VIII, who praised the region’s growing prominence. “The Central Region is a city on the path of rapid development, and this Expo is a gateway to even greater economic transformation,” he noted.

The Regional Minister unveiled a packed week-long program, highlighting its new 24-hour event format, which blends day and night activities to maximize patronage and engagement. He further commended corporate sponsors including SSNIT, NHIS, COA, and other partners for their immense support.

Adding cultural vibrancy to the occasion, the Centre for National Culture (CNC) folklore troupe thrilled guests with the traditional Ompɛ Dance, filling the launch with colour and rhythm.

In his remarks, Osabarimba Kwesi Atta II emphasized the need for discipline and effective time management in business, while Hon. Kojo Yankah urged stakeholders to harness the Central Region’s vast natural resources, educational heritage, and tourism potential to stimulate trade and wealth creation.

Following the ceremony, guests and stakeholders toured the exhibition stands, where a wide array of products and services were showcased.

The Central Expo remains the region’s flagship trade, tourism, and investment fair, spearheaded by the Central Regional Coordinating Council (CRCC) to promote economic growth and development through trade, innovation, and cultural exchange.
