Popular Ghanaian artiste and philanthropist Real MC has been officially appointed as the International Tourism and Development Ambassador for the Cape Coast Metropolitan Assembly by the Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. George Justice Arthur.

The appointment recognizes Real MC not only for his artistic achievements in the music industry but also for his growing influence in community development, youth empowerment, and cultural promotion within the Central Region and beyond.

Real MC has steadily built a reputation as a musician whose music resonates deeply with fans locally and across the diaspora, earning him nominations and awards including Artiste of the Year at the Central Music Awards earlier in his career.

But beyond his music, Real MC has distinguished himself through hands-on community support and charitable gestures that have endeared him to many Ghanaians.

Humanitarian Impact and Community Donations

Supporting Dance and Culture in Elmina

Real MC recently donated GH₵2,000 to the Elmina Dance Academy after their impressive performance in a challenge tied to his popular song “Teach Me.” The contribution was applauded by community members and supporters of the arts for encouraging youth participation in dance and cultural expression.

Contribution to Akwaaba FM and the Waakye Festival

Real MC also donated to Akwaaba FM through the Show Killa Foundation ahead of the Akwaaba Waakye Festival, supporting media and community celebration efforts that attract residents and visitors alike.

Additional Community Support Projects

His philanthropic footprint extends further. Real MC’s recent gesture of donating 10 bags of cement toward the Kakumdo Children’s Park Project in the Central Region demonstrated his commitment to creating safe recreational spaces for children, a move that was widely praised on social media and in local press.

Real MC’s appointment has been met with widespread congratulations from fans, creative industry peers, and residents of the Central Region, with many describing the recognition as well-deserved.
