Ghanaian gospel sensation Juliet Duodu has urged big and well-established churches to financially support their instrumentalists and singers.
In an exclusive interview with DJ Qwequ on Ahomka 99.5 FM, the "Soma Me" crooner emphasized the importance of churches investing in their music ministries. Duodu highlighted the significant financial investments required to produce high-quality, soul-nourishing music.
"As an artist, I know that a lot of money goes into producing good and well-mastered songs," she explained. "However, some church leaders overlook this aspect, focusing solely on the spiritual aspect, forgetting that money is involved."
Duodu stressed that churches should appreciate the financial sacrifices made by musicians, acknowledging that their work is essential to spreading the gospel.
"This support enables musicians to focus on sharing the gospel through music, enhancing worship experiences, and inspiring congregations," she emphasized.
She lastly urged churches with means to support instrumentalists and singers in their various churches to do so.
