Mr. Ibu's wife honours her late husband's posthumous birthday with the words, "We Miss You So Much."

Stella Maris, the wife of late Nollywood actor, John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu, has paid tribute to her late husband on what would have been his 63rd birthday.

According to Naija News, Mr. Ibu passed away on March 2, 2024, at the age of 62, following a protracted illness.

On Thursday, Stella shared a picture of their family on Instagram, recalling how the veteran actor loved and celebrated his birthdays.Packages for family vacations "Today is my late husband's birthday (Mr. IBU)," she wrote. He won't be here to celebrate his birthday for the first time.

“I can’t forget how he used to cherish and celebrate his birthdays. We miss him so much. May his soul continue to rest in eternal peace. Amen.”

Meanwhile, Jasmine Okekeagwu, the alleged adopted daughter of late Mr Ibu, has said she considers her dealings with the family of the late movie star as a form of charity.

According to Naija News, Jasmine explained in an interview with Punch that she had not severed her relationship with the actor's family, even though there had been a lot of conflict between them during his final days and following his death.

Jasmine claimed that because the family did not initially comprehend her intentions, she is more concerned with taking care of herself and avoiding conflict.

She added that even before she met the late Mr. Ibu, she had been actively interested in charitable activities for a long time.
