Dr. Caryn Agyeman Prempeh, affectionately known as "Ohemaa," is a force to be reckoned with. As the daughter of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, she's made a name for herself in both medicine and entrepreneurship .




Educated at top institutions globally, Dr. Prempeh attended St. Rose's Senior High School in Ghana, Headington Girls School in the UK, and later studied biomedical science at the University College London. She completed her medical training at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi .

As a medical professional, Dr. Prempeh has worked at several reputable institutions, including Claron Health International, 37 Military Hospital, and Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. Her passion for women's health, particularly cervical cancer prevention, led her to found Cerviva Ghana, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and educating young girls about prevention .


Dr. Prempeh is also a successful entrepreneur, having founded Ohemaa Detergents during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her company offers a range of sanitizers and cleaning products approved by Ghana's Food and Drugs Authority .

Through her remarkable work, Dr. Prempeh has built a strong reputation as a dedicated medical professional and advocate for women's health. Her achievements demonstrate that her royal lineage is not the defining factor, but rather complements her commitment to improving her community .
