Sad News as 2 Sisters Die While Heading to Mother's Funeral in Ashanti

According to the video posted on twitter today by TV3GH, in Ashanti Region, two sisters, Mary and Akosua, lost their lives in a fatal accident while they were on their way to attend their mother’s funeral.




The incident occurred on the main road leading to the family home in the Ashanti Region. The sisters, who were traveling from Accra, had been informed of their mother’s passing and rushed to be with their family during this difficult time. Sadly, as they were heading to the funeral, their car crashed, and they both died on the spot.

Mary, 35 years old, and Akosua, 28 years old, were well-known in their community for their kindness and dedication to their family.

Mary worked as a teacher, while Akosua was a nurse. Both women had always been there for their loved ones, and their untimely deaths have left a deep void in their family.

According to witnesses, the crash happened late at night when the sisters' vehicle swerved off the road after losing control.
