Eugene Kuami, Joyce Blessing Promoted 'Victory' Insufficiently

In an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM's Daybreak Hitz, Ghanaian singer Kuami Eugene recently talked candidly about the promotion of Joyce Blessing's song "Victory." He expressed his opinion that in order to advance the song, the gospel singer could have done more work.

Joyce Blessing's strategy was likened by Kuami Eugene to that of Empress Gifty, who has been actively marketing her own song, "Watch Me." "I believe Joyce Blessing did not accomplish as much as Empress Gifty is doing [with 'Watch Me,'" he said. I'm simply being honest. Even though I adore Auntie Joyce, I don't think she did the song justice the way Empress is. The Empress has taken offense. Additionally, it is highly respected from the standpoint of a writer.

Kuami Eugene claims that although Joyce Blessing's initial efforts when "Victory" was published were vigorous, she appeared to slow down after December, even though the song went viral. "She had a hit song, so that's it for her," he continued.

Kuami Eugene, however, commended Empress Gifty for her unwavering dedication to song promotion. Nearly a month has passed, and Empress Gifty doesn't appear to be stopping anytime soon. And it looks fantastic. She has visited Kumasi and the Eastern Region, among other places. He clarified, "I believe it is something we should really learn."

The songwriting abilities of Kuami Eugene, who not only penned and composed "Victory," but also worked as the music video's creative director, have received a great deal of praise. Aside from his own compositions, he has composed songs for musicians such as Kwame Yogot, Empress Gifty, and MzVee.
