It isn't true; I didn't say anything about Kufour. Sammy Gyamfi responds to a widely shared Facebook post.

Some dishonest people have used technology to disseminate false information about prominent politicians in an effort to make them or their political parties unappealing to Ghanaian voters as the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections draw near. Some of these individuals employ such advanced technology that it is hard to tell the difference between authentic and fake news.

Targeted by some of these dishonest people, lawyer Sammy Gyamfi, the National Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has stepped out to refute a widely shared Facebook remark that has been ascribed to him. Sammy Gyamfi allegedly stated in a widely shared Facebook post that former president John Agyekum Kufour would be imprisoned right away. The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, former President John Dramani Mahama, takes the oath of office.

However, Sammy Gyamfi clarified that the report did originate from him in a Facebook post, calling it completely untrue. He called on Ghanaians to ignore the news and show it the disdain it merits. He assured his fans that he did not say such things about former President John Agyekum Kufour, calling it a phony. Some of his supporters were concerned by such statements, but his clarify has allayed their concerns.

They expressed their gratitude to him for correcting the records in his comments section. Sammy I personally don't support NDC anymore, but I'm positive you won't say this. "It's unfortunate who did it, because such things don't receive any votes," someone wrote.
