Following the release of his new, chart-topping sixth studio album, "UP & RUNNIN," Stonebwoy has announced a performance at London's 02 Shepherd's Bush Empire on Saturday, March 8, 2025. As he continues to establish himself as one of the most significant musicians and prominent voices in reggae, dancehall, and Afropop, the performance coincides with the opening date of his recently revealed "UP & RUNNIN6" tour, which is planned to last the entirety of 2025. After his historic 5TH DIMENSION record era, in which he played more than 50 foreign shows and won more than 20 major industry awards globally, it will signal the beginning of a new era.
Since his successful 2023 UK & Europe tour, which included sold-out performances in Manchester, Birmingham, and London's Electric Brixton, Stonebwoy will be making his first significant return to London for a self-curated headline gig. The UP & RUNNIN6 album had its worldwide release on October 24 under Burniton Music Group (BMG), in collaboration with Warner Music Group's ADA Worldwide. "JEJEREJE" featuring Amsterdam's record producer Ginton, "EKELEBE" featuring Nigerian rap sensation ODUMODUBLVCK, "PRAY FOR ME" featuring multi-Grammy-winning Hatian rapper Wyclef Jean, and "YOUR BODY" are among the album's early chart-topping worldwide hits. These songs have amassed millions of streams and dominated radio airplay on major music networks.
Notable guest appearances by legendary Nigerian singer Duncan Mighty, Blvk H3ro, Kaylan Arnold, Chi Ching Ching, Amaria BB, Spice, Jahmiel, 10Tikk, and Larruso are also included, along with the brand-new song and music video "MEMORIES," featuring Ir Sais. With 13 tracks that combine Afrobeat, Dancehal, Reggae, Highlife, Amapiano, and R&B, UP & RUNNIN6 displays his distinctive Afro-Caribbean sound. Songs like "PSALM 23," "BETTA TIN," "SHINE," "LOVELY WEATHER," "GEOGRAPHY," "PRAY FOR ME," and "FVCK UP SUMMER" showcase his versatility and commanding vocal presence while exploring themes of introspection, romance, spirituality, and empowerment. It's a collage of intensity, highs and lows, and ebbs and flows.
