The NDC Abuakwa North Constituency has announced plans to raise funds to support their parliamentary candidate, Mr. Charles Yeboah Darko, ahead of the 2024 general elections.
The decision was made at a meeting held by the constituency executives and party members, where strategies to secure victory for the NDC in the 2024 elections were discussed.
The constituency has set a fundraising target of GHC 1,000,000. The funds will be used to support the campaign activities of the parliamentary candidate and to strengthen the party's structures within the constituency.
The fundraising event is scheduled to take place at the Oak Ridge Hotel in Akyem New Tafo on November 16, 2024.
According to the constituency chairman, Hon. Sadidi Mohammed, the funds will mobilize resources for party activities and support Mr. Charles Yeboah Darko's campaign efforts in the constituency.
"We are determined to win the 2024 elections, and we believe that by equipping our parliamentary candidate with the necessary resources, we can achieve this goal," he stated.
The constituency executives have also called on party members to contribute towards the fundraising campaign to ensure the success of the NDC in the 2024 elections.
