Former President John Dramani Mahama has expressed confidence that Ghanaians will make a better choice in the 2024 general elections, avoiding the mistakes of 2016 and 2020 that brought the NPP government to power.
Speaking during his campaign tour in Nsawam, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate highlighted the struggles and frustrations of Ghanaians under the current administration. "I have traveled across this beautiful country, meeting hardworking Ghanaians who feel let down by the NPP government," he stated.
Mr. Mahama shared stories of despair encountered during his visits to towns, villages, and cities, where citizens grapple with economic hardships and a lack of opportunities. Despite these challenges, he noted the resilience and determination of the people. "Ghanaians continue to strive for a better future for themselves and their families," he added.
The former president expressed optimism about the upcoming elections. "In 2024, Ghanaians will not repeat the mistakes of the past. They will choose a leader who genuinely cares about their welfare and is committed to delivering development and progress," he asserted.
Emphasizing his track record and commitment to inclusivity, Mr. Mahama assured Ghanaians that he is the leader to bring meaningful change. "Throughout my years of public service, I have shown my dedication to the people of Ghana. My vision is for a Ghana that works for everyone, not just a privileged few," he stated.
He urged Ghanaians to rally behind the NDC and his leadership to achieve a brighter future. "Let us make the right choice in 2024 and build a Ghana we can all be proud of," he concluded.
The campaign message serves as a rallying call for unity and progress, reflecting the NDC’s commitment to addressing the pressing issues facing Ghanaians.
