In Accra, the Operation Recover All Loots (ORAL) team, led by Samuel Okudzto Ablakwa, has increased its efforts to look into any land encroachments connected to state capture. A team member, Kofi Boakye, called for quick action to demolish the wall surrounding the Northern Development Authority (NDA) building in Cantonments, Accra, as part of the investigation into suspected illegal land encroachments during a recent field inspection.
The NDA office was blocked off with locked gates when the crew arrived, making it impossible for them to conduct a direct facility inspection. "Breaking the wall would force those inside to reveal themselves," Kofi Boakye said, highlighting the team's unwavering dedication to revealing the truth behind the irregularities relating to the land.
Important locations that were allegedly encroached upon by government and private individuals were also included in the investigation, including the Dubois Center, Agric Mechanization fields, Labadi Beach Hotel seafront, and the La Trade Fair.
Motivated by the goal of reclaiming state properties that have been robbed by John Dramani Mahama, the ORAL team seeks to compile enough proof to allay public fears of state capture and guarantee accountability. Strong remarks from Kofi Boakye demonstrate the team's resolve to find the people behind the encroachments.
