The people of Asante Nsumankwaafie, under the leadership of Nsumankwaahene Baffour Asabre Kogyawoasu Ababio III, are famously known as ‘adurofuo.’

Legend holds that they have the unique ability to prevent rainfall during major outdoor ceremonies involving the Asantehene.
This extraordinary skill was showcased once again on Thursday at Manhyia Palace, where Otumfuo hosted a durbar in honor of the visiting King of Eswatini at Dwabrem.

While heavy rain poured in nearby areas, the durbar grounds at Manhyia remained dry. Many attribute this to the Nsumankwaafie’s mystical intervention, ensuring the event proceeded without disruption.
