In Ghana's Ashanti Region, the decaying body of an unnamed guy was found inside the Range Rover's boot on November 8, 2024, according to a post uploaded yesterday by Metro TV Ghana.
The vehicle had been positioned among other cars that were on show for sale when the startling discovery was made in a Kumasi car yard. Before a strong, unpleasant stench started to permeate the region, the body had remained inside the car for a few days without anyone noticing. Locals initially believed the scent might be from a dead animal, but as it intensified and drew flies, their suspicions grew.
When the scent continued and the automobile stayed parked with no movement, witnesses said they started to get concerned. As a result, worried residents called the police.
The stink was so strong that it took the cops over half an hour to break into the car after they arrived on the scene.
They first sprayed the area to control the situation before managing to get inside the car's boot. They discovered a shirtless, decaying body inside when they opened it. As the authorities look into the circumstances surrounding the tragedy, the victim's identification and cause of death are still unknown.
Although the body showed no outward evidence of damage at the time of discovery, more research is being done to determine the true cause of this terrible incident. The body had been lying in plain sight for days without anyone discovering, leaving the Kumasi local community in shock and amazement.
Many people are talking about the case and are worried about how a catastrophe like this could have gone unnoticed for so long.
