Prophet Emmanuel Kobi Badu is a Ghanaian writer, pastor, businessman, and philanthropist. He is the founder of Glorious Wave Church International.

He was born on May 3 in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.

Emmanuel Kobi Badu is the president of Kingdom Bible College, Emmanuel Kobi Ministries, and the founder and general overseer of Glorious Wave Church International. His publications include "The Church Back to Eden”, "Born for Glory" among several others.

On 13 September 2016, veteran actor Abeiku Yyame who was suffering from an enlargement of the heart and on admission at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital received $10,000 from Emmanuel Kobi Badu. It is also believed he has gifted about 200 cars to Ghanaians and some of the beneficiaries include Daddy Lumba, Counselor George Lutterodt, and Obaapa Christy. Members of his church are believed to have gifted him with cars and numerous gifts as well.

Abronye DC of the New Patriotic Party referred to him as a fake pastor claiming that he consistently gives false prophecies in February 2019.

He was accused and criticized by Parliament in July 2019 for passing tribalistic comments and using derogatory words against the Ashanti and Fanti women. The Christian Council of Ghana also criticized him and referred to his comments as bigoted, unnecessary, and lawless.

Emmanuel Kobi Badu married Gloria Badu Kobi with whom he had a son, Daniel Kenneth Badu Kobi (April 10, 1998), a student of the Ashesi University who died at the age of 19 after a short illness. The funeral was attended by high-ranking members of the society including former president John Dramani Mahama, Afia Schwarzenegger, and several Men of God.
