Sekina Sidique is a Journalist and Community Manager at GhanaWeb owned by AfricaWeb Holdings, Ghana's largest and most visited online news portal.

She is also a communications expert, who has carved a niche in digital news and content creation.

Prior to starting her career in journalism in 2018, she worked with the Ghana Revenue Authority and Mechanical Lloyd PLC.

Sekina started out as an intern with GhanaWeb creating background pages(biographies) of prominent, distinguished, and well-known Ghanaians, home and abroad.

Sekina attended the EPC Mawuko Girls Senior High School in Ho, Volta Region. She then pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Central University, Ghana specializing in Broadcast Communication.

She has engaged and participated in workshops by the BBC as well as the University of Ghana which has further broadened her spectrum.
