Television personality, Afia Schwarzenegger has teased the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation over the much talked about Television License.
Afia in a short video after it emerged that the governing board of GBC had ordered that nobody should be prosecuted due to the individual’s inability to pay his/her television license tagging her goat as TV licence and asked that the goat be sent away like how the television licence has been rejected by the people of Ghana.
She indicated that Ghanaians are not going to pay for the Television Licence.
Meanwhile, the Board Chairman of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporations (GBC), Rev. Professor Emmanuel Adow Obeng has disclosed that defaulters of the controversial TV license will not be prosecuted as earlier communicated.
The latest decision was arrived at after an emergency board meeting of the state broadcaster on Wednesday, January 10, 2018.
