Screen All Jourists Declares Komenda District Chief Executive

The District Chief Executive for Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem, Mr.. Thomas Ankomah, has called on the government to institute measures at the country's entry points to for screening all tourists entering the country. Speaking at the second ordinary meeting of the District Assembly at Eguafo, as part of the new rotational sessions of the Assembly, Mr.. Ankuma explained that while the tourism industry is being given the necessary boost, the government should overlook the possible repercussions that may arise from the influx of tourists with deadly diseases like AIDS. He expressed concern about the high incidence of drug abuse in the district especially along the coastal towns in the district.
