Former Hearts of Oak winger, Ashittey Ollenu says he will thrive to succeed at Asante Kotoko despite the challenges players face when they switch sides.
Over the years, players that switch camp from the two local giants fail to find their best form, and Ollenu has been warned by his former club supporters not to take that route as nears a switch to their sworn rivals.
However, Ollenu has promised to work hard to shake off the ghost that has haunted players in the past.
"I know the challenges that players of Hearts and Kotoko encounter when one crosses carpet to the other but I know with God’s intervention and hardworking, I will excel at Kotoko no matter what happens," he told ATL FM.
He scored a brace for his imminent club in a friendly game against Quarm FC last week Friday.
