On Accra-based Hitz FM's Daybreak Hitz show, actor LilWin offered a perspective on the traditional link between English fluency and success.

He challenged the prevailing notion, asserting that talent and relentless effort, rather than language proficiency, are the true drivers of achievement.

The Kumawood actor while emphasizing that success is driven by innate abilities rather than language proficiency, urged people to reassess their notions of accomplishment and acknowledge that linguistic aptitude alone does not define one's potential.

He boldly declared, "English can never buy land, but talent can buy everything."

Meanwhile, LilWin mentioned on The Afternoon Show on TV3 that he's been in more than 2,000 movies. He also hinted that if you add up all the series he's acted in, the count could exceed 4,000 movies.

“For now, about 2000 movies in my office. It’s even a small number but currently I have 2000 movies in my school’s library that the school kids use for learning. I used to buy my movies back then when there was CD.

“For series, four seasons make two movies; so imagine 13 series for which every season is 13 episodes continuously like that. If I am to add that, it could be near 4000 movies,” he stated on May 14.

LilWin is renowned for his acting prowess in the Twi language, one of the principal languages spoken in Ghana. His ability to deliver comedic performances and captivating dialogue in Twi has endeared him to audiences across Ghana and beyond, solidifying his status as one of the country's most prominent actors.

In addition to acting, he's also ventured into music, releasing several songs.

Some of LilWin's popular songs include "Mama Boss Papa," "Anointing," "I Don't Think Far," and "Ladder." These tracks have garnered significant attention and airplay in Ghana and have contributed to LilWin's fame as a musician alongside his acting career.
