Gospel songstress, Patience Nyarko, has said Brother Sammy’s controversial song, “Nipa Hunu” was composed out of pain.
“I can see the pain in him after listening to the song carefully. Perhaps, he was referring to his critics and detractors, but he should have forgiven them,” Patience Nyarko told Ama Gyenafa Ofosu- Darkwah on ‘Celebrity Chat’ on Atinka TV’s Morning Show Friday.
The ‘Obi Nyani me’ hit maker added that usually, people take advantage of Christians and offend them with ease because they know real Christians don’t pay evil with evil.
Touching on the rumours that she was in an amorous relationship with her married manager, the “Eboboba” hit maker said the allegation is false and that her fans should treat the reports with the utmost contempt.
Bra Sammy, born Samuel Opoku revealed in an earlier interview with Accra -based radio that he only released a snippet of the yet-to-be-released song to cause controversy.
The innuendo-laden song has been condemned by Ghanaians, particularly Christians who believe the lyrics are not in tune with the teachings of Jesus Christ.
