Musicians, Tic Tac and DopeNation have reacted to their colleague, Kuami Eugene's comment suggesting that the music industry has become a bloody game.

In response to the claim, Tic Tac, now Tic, reminded Eugene that the music industry has always been competitive, with some people resorting to various means to achieve their targets.

Tic Tac encouraged Eugene to continue putting in his best efforts, assuring him that through this, Eugene would entertain his fans and attain his ambition.

In a post on X, Tic Tac wrote, "It has always been like that, Kuami. Just keep it coming and continue doing you. I have no doubt that you shall surpass your own levels. Consider whatever you are going through or you have witnessed as a challenge you must overcome on your way to greatness.

"Welcome to the game proper. By the way, congratulations on your new feat yesterday. You have got too much sauce to be licked by your fans; just believe that and never back out."

Meanwhile, DopeNation believes that the 'Monica' hitmaker's comment criticizing the music industry tends to be hypocritical.

"See the kettle calling the pot black!" DopeNation remarked on X.

Kuami Eugene in a tweet after the Telecel Ghana Music Awards 2024 stated that some artistes resort to any means necessary, whether positive or negative, to realize their ambitions and achieve their goals.

"The music industry is not how the fans see it. It's a bloody game now. People will do anything, pull any string for validation. Ay3 tan!!!!!" he wrote on X.

Meanwhile, Eugene won two awards at the 2024 TGMA. He won the Best Highlife Artiste and Best Music Video of the Year awards.

The TGMA was held at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre on Saturday, June 1, 2024, where musicians were awarded for their works over the past year.
