Faulty ECG meter causes fire, destroys house in Ashaiman

A faulty ECG meter which sparked fire causing a gas explosion, has destroyed a house in Lebanon Zone 2 at Ashaiman.

The incident has caused extensive damage and left the residents in a state of shock, citinewroom.com reports.

The fire was reportedly caused by individuals using gas cylinders in the house for food preparation. The blaze quickly engulfed the entire house, leaving nothing but ashes in its wake.

Fortunately, despite the severity of the fire, no lives were lost, and no injuries were reported.

However, the residents have suffered significant material losses. Valuables, including various assets and an undisclosed amount of money, were consumed by the flames.
