Alhaji Abdul Rauf Tanko

As I indicated in my previous article titled "FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF MAMPRUGU MOADURI-ALHAJI ABDUL RAUF TANKO IS THE MAN TO VOTE FOR" that mamprugu moaduri was virtually abandoned by the NPP government led by kufour-Alhaji Aliu Mahama led administration in 2001-2008.
The good people of Mamprugu moaduri could only see the light of development when it was separated from Walewale constituency in 2004.Fortunately, the newly created constituency baptized as Yagaba-Kubori constituency was represented by a competent, selfless and dedicated gentleman, Alhaji Ibrahim Abdul RAUF TANKO on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress in the 2005 Ghana Parliament.
The 2004 election was a wakeup call for the good people of mamprugu moaduri to decide whether to progress or to retrogress-not a call to battle, though embattled they were: But a call to know that they have a great burden as people's of mamprugu moaduri.
That is rejoicing in more hope and struggled against the common enemy of mamprugu moaduri, which is lack of educational facilities, poor road network, poor health delivery, lack of electricity and many more.
Alhaji Abdul Rauf Tanko despite having been a patriotic member of National Democratic Congress realized the need for mamprugu moaduri to develop made him to contest the 2004 presidential and parliamentary elections as a member of Parliament for YAGABA-KUBORI constituency.
For Allah so love the people of mamprugu moaduri that He made the people of YAGABA-KUBORI constituency to chose his only begotten servant Alhaji Ibrahim Abdul RAUF Tanko to represent YAGABA-KUBORI constituency in Parliament.
Unfortunately the National Democratic Congress presidential candidate late professor John Evans Fifi Atta Mills could not make it to the OSU Castle in the 2004 presidential and parliamentary elections and as the saying goes winner takes it all but that did not stop Alhaji Abdul RAUF Tanko to have mamprugu moaduri developed.
Alhaji Abdul Rauf Tanko is a visionary leader mamprugu moaduri has ever had. Before he joined politics, he had a very clear vision for mamprugu moaduri.
His vision was that,the good people of mamprugu moaduri have access to better education, health delivery, eradicate poverty, provide security, make available agricultural machinery, improving good road network, connecting mamprugu moaduri to the national grid, improving businesses and many more. His mission was to make mamprugu moaduri a better place for everybody.
And if you my readership were to ask me(author of this article) whether Alhaji Abdul Rauf Tanko has succeeded in making mamprugu moaduri a better place as the two-time member of parliament and hopefully by his Grace a member of parliament for YAGABA-KUBORI constituency come December,7 I would wish to refer you to the common dictum (sayings) of General Moisse Dayan of Israel, who once stated,and I quote: "....the general (or head of state), is always hoping to win the battle but journalists and professional always prevent them from realizing this objective.
But that notwithstanding,jakal may howl in the field, but above Shines the stars. Alhaji Abdul Rauf Tanko has really transformed and changed mamprugu moaduri for better despite the truncation of his bid to Parliament in 2012.
As I indicated earlier in this article that, Alhaji Abdul Rauf Tanko's third term bid to Parliament was truncated in 2012 electioneering year but he had never for once relented in his endeavour for the progress of YAGABA-KUBORI constituency for he has a very clear cut vision for his people.
He chalked a lot of success on education, health, agriculture, security, commerce, communication, potable water,electricity to the area and many more. The good people of mamprugu moaduri District will testify to all these achievements by Alhaji Abdul Rauf Tanko.
Alhaji Abdul Rauf Tanko has the embodiment of vision, ideals and hope for mamprugu moaduri district. In actual fact,he is the rainbow of the mamprugu moaduri district. In persuing his goals for the good people of mamprugu moaduri district he had achieved a lot.
He fought long and hard for the progress of mamprugu moaduri and he has even fought even longer and harder for the constituency he cherishes so much. He has endured sacrifices for mamprugu moaduri district that most people cannot begin to imagine, and we are better off for the service rendered by this brave, competent, and selfless leader.
What Alhaji Abdul Rauf Tanko has achieved so far for the people of YAGABA-KUBORI constituency gives us hope for what he can achieve for us tomorrow.
Come December 7th,2016 Alhaji Ibrahim Abdul Rauf is our best option for YAGABA-KUBORI constituency. The cross is on his shoulders but burden shared are easier to bear. We, the good of YAGABA-KUBORI constituency must organise and mobilise to help the member of Parliament hopefully to bring more development and a better answer for mamprugu moaduri district.
Ladies and gentlemen in mamprugu moaduri district, let's take up the unfinished business of development in continuity of YAGABA-KUBORI constituency by voting for Alhaji Ibrahim Abdul Rauf Tanko and his Excellency Wumpini John Dramani Mahama in this year elections. We must start all over, make a new beginning, and make a new symbols for development in continuity of mamprugu moaduri district.
