Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) continue to drive Ghana's economic landscape, contributing more than 70% to the nation's GDP.

Recognizing their pivotal role, the 2024 Ghana Outstanding Business Achievement Awards (GOBAA) recently honored over nineteen outstanding companies and individuals from the private sector.

The GOBAA Awards, organized by the Imperial Communications Group, highlight excellence in fostering economic growth and development within and beyond Ghana's borders.

This year's event celebrated entities that have excelled in creating investor-friendly environments and significantly impacting various sectors across the country.

The awards serve as a benchmark for industry excellence, rewarding innovative ideas that push the boundaries of possibility. Categories recognized at the ceremony included Best in Export, Outstanding Private Security Provider, Medical Equipment Supplier of the Year, and Most Outstanding Personality in Youth Development, among others.

According to the organizers of the GOBAA, the Imperial Communications Group, the Awards aim to unite key players in the private sector, acknowledging businesses that meet exemplary standards and inspire others to contribute meaningfully to Ghana's economic landscape.
