The founder of Heaven’s Gate Ministries, Prophet Nicholas Osei, popularly known as Kumchacha, has shared his surprise at witnessing Kennedy Agyapong actively campaigning for the NPP flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

According to him, he firmly believed that Ken Agyapong would refrain from participating in Bawumia's campaign due to their known political rivalry.

The pastor in a viral video posted on blogger Thosecalledcelebs noted that Ken Agyapong's previous criticisms of Bawumia could now serve as ammunition for other political parties as the general elections approach.

Despite Ken Agyapong's support for Bawumia, Kumchacha remains convinced that the NPP will not secure victory in the pending 2024 elections, given their performance in governance.

"I've noticed Ken Agyapong becoming a hot topic on social media since he was seen campaigning for Bawumia in Kumasi. Despite this, I'm of the view that the NPP is headed for the opposition. The statements Ken Agyapong made about Bawumia will likely be leveraged by the public.

"Agyapong claimed he was offered an $800 million bribe to withdraw from the presidential primaries and labeled Bawumia as economically inept. These remarks, among others, have truly shocked me to the core, seeing Agyapong endorsing Bawumia at a campaign event. It's a stark reminder that placing trust in individuals can be unreliable," he stated.

These remarks were made after Kennedy Agyapong was spotted campaigning for the vice president during the NPP Ashanti Regional campaign tour.

Also, some sections of the public expressed surprise at the MP's decision to support Bawumia despite their previous differences.
