Newcastle want to sign Christian Atsu on a permanent deal

English Championship side Newcastle United want to sign Ghanaian winger, Christian Atsu on a permanent basis, Kickgh.com can exclusively reveal.

The 24-year-old joined the Magpies lads on a season-long loan from Chelsea in the summer transfer window.

Chelsea signed the Ghana international on a five-year deal from FC Porto in 2013 but has failed to make a single appearance for the Blues lads.

He has had loan spells with Vitesse Arnhem, Everton, Bournemouth and Malaga.

According to Kickgh.com sources, Coach Rafael Benitez wants to keep the Ghanaian winger at the St. James Park on a permanent deal.
