"The people of Okere are looking forward to hearing from the President about the fulfilment of the promise," he emphasized Mr George Opare-Addo, District Chief Executive, for Akuapem North, said the project was being funded by the Ghana Education Trust Fund. He said the project was "dear to the heart" of the assembly, because when completed would put an end to the shift system at the Dawu-Awukugua United Primary School. Mr Opare-Addo appealed to the contractor commissioned for the project to speed up work in order to complete it within the eight months stipulated time.
