The political landscape of Ghana is set to see the emergence of a new contender as the "Save the Nation Movement" has officially been certified by the Electoral Commission to participate in the upcoming 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.

The announcement came during a press conference held at the party's headquarters in Ayi-Mensah, Accra, on June 26, 2024, where General Secretary Nene Lartey Addico expressed his elation over meeting the Electoral Commission's requirements.

"We are very happy to meet the necessary requirements of the EC to contest the 2024 General elections come December 7," he stated.

The "Save the Nation Movement" is gearing up to challenge the status quo and seek the electorate's mandate to govern the country starting in 2025.

Addico appealed to Ghanaians to support the party's bid for victory in the elections, emphasizing the party's readiness to lead the nation to its "promised land."

The party's leadership promises to foster equality among all Ghanaians, disregarding political affiliations.

"Save the Nation Movement, when in power, will ensure equality among every Ghanaian without considering the political colours of any individual," Addico assured.

He urged the populace to set aside their support for the established parties, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and instead entrust the "Save the Nation Movement" with the mandate to develop the country.

"Our flagbearer will ensure that every Ghanaian gets his or her share of the 'National Cake' without any discrimination," Addico claimed.

The "Save the Nation Movement" enters the political arena not with the intent to "create loot and share," but with a vision to liberate every citizen of Ghana, according to the General Secretary.
