The Ghanaian music industry could soon be infected with an incurable virus culminating into it if measures are not immediately put in place to stop the style of music being produced by the current crop of musicians, Shatta Wale has warned.
He revealed in an interview monitored by MyNewsGh.com that Hiplife artiste Justice Amoah otherwise known as Patapaa will be the one to infect the nation with the said unnamed virus which may embarrass the country before the world.
“Patapaa has found the key to this industry and if Ghana does not take care, he will infect the industry with some virus and it will be hard for Isaac Newton and Dr. Duncan to come and repair it”, he warned.
Shatta Wale wondered what will be said about the country, the kind of songs and their meanings if it emerges that Patapaa is seen as the top musician in the country with songs like Scopatumana.
Asked if he plans on releasing a song with Patapaa he claims has unlocked the door to the industry he said: “Maybe another one like ‘hibihidiharder’."
"Patapaa is taking advantage of the industry, he is just being smart. Nobody should doubt that guy that he is from Swedru he does not have that mentality”, he disclosed.
