A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) communication team, Nana Fredua Ofori-Atta, has advised Tsatsu Tsikata to consider going back to the lecture hall to teach as a law lecturer rather than wasting his time and that of the Supreme Court with his repetition style of cross examination.
According to him, Mr. Tsikata has been noted for his exceptional talent of teaching by most of his students, but his practice in the court room is totally poor.
“The NDC have so many lawyers so why did they select Tsatsu who is a teacher but not a practicing lawyer in court. Even Sir John applauds him (Tsatsu Tsikata) for his excellent skills of teaching so he should have stayed in the classroom just like late Professor Mills. Mr. Tsatsu Tsikata is not destined to represent clients in court,” he said.
Speaking to an Accra-based Asempa FM; Nana Fredua Ofori-Atta, however, described counsel of the NDC a delayer who is elongating the court proceedings and must be queried or asked to go back to the class room since he has never won a single case in court.
“Mr. Tsatsu Tsikata is a delayer; the court room is not where he is supposed to be. He should go back to the class room and teach. How many cases have we heard Tsatsu won? I sometimes ask myself whether he is even supposed to be in court.
“… He is an ex-convict, and that is an image matter. He is not fit for the court. Technically he (Tsatsu) can be in court, but his image and principle, there are issues to be raised,” he said.
