A Senior Fellow at the Legon Centre for International Affairs, LECIAD, Dr. Vladimir Antwi-Danso, says lack of transparency in Ghana's democracy is what is derailing her socio-economic development and the lives of the people. Speaking at a roundtable discussion in Accra on Ghana's democratization process so far, the African Charter in Democracy, Elections and Governance in Focus, Dr. Antwi-Danso said the perception that Ghana is among corrupt countries on the continent can be cleared if the governance system is characterised by transparency right from the Executive, Judiciary and Legislature up to the ordinary person.
