He has said all manner of things including saying that the President had a hand in the accident that the running mate had up north. Indeed his wise running make came out boldly debunking this claim of this demented and schizophrenic wreck. If Sir John does not know, his own Presidential Candidate has acknowledged the fact that John Mahama is the 4th president of the forth republic; full stop. He would have been reeling in prison but for the good work done on his behalf by Ayikoi Otoo- evidently from some of his lousy and terribly uncouth statements. In fact the present one against the president is just a small one. He, Sir John can continue to live in self denial. I feel sad for the NPP for having such a person as the General Secretary!

This case was FRIVOLOUS and without merit and I was very much impressed by all who voted 9-0, esp. Paul. He was completely professional and did not allow any sentiments to cloud his judgement. My regard for him has increased tremendously! he correctly judged the case as a typical "foolish case" which shouldn't have been filed in the first place.
It is ridiculous for some to uphold, for instance, the argument for No Barometric Verification No Vote pronouncement made by Afari Gyan. His words are no laws in our statute books and so cannot be upheld against no less a supreme code than our Constitution! Very whimsical to even presume that!

Mahama wore white because, like majority of Ghanaians he knew that he had beaten Akufo Addo clean at the polls and that truth will prevail at the Supreme Court.
It is as simple as that!!!

He had to threaten, intimidate and calm down members of the NPP, while at the same time, instilling in them to be afraid so that they will not say a word after they had been cheated by his pronouncement of this partial judgment. Atububa may have achieved his aim but I bet you he will never be free until he passes on. Just as he was judging the petitioner's case, he was equally being judged within and without the court room and the pronouncement of judgment concerning how he judged this all important case will be witnessed very soon. It will be good if he did well. It will be bad if he did bad. The ultimate judge of our universe will do it at the right time.

NPP was simply not organised and not well prepared for the legal challenges of Tsatsu Tsikata and co. Dr Bawumia was just arrogant, egotistical and in fact, acting like a clown in court!. He never answered question asked or provided any evidence to support his own opinion. He was like 'a dog with a bone' kept on insisting that he statistics was correct. That was NPP's big mistake in allowing him to stand as a principal witness. Dr Bawumia also had no good knowledge of the Constitution and the Electoral processes in Ghana. Instead of making a coherent and persuasive argument, he embark on the silly 'you and I were not there'. So the question is if you go to court and instead of providing the evidence to you claim but you insist that you and I were not there then you fail miserably because even if you may be right in accusing me for the offence you do not have the evidence to convince the court or anybody else. Hear says do not work in proper courts. Perhaps as a lawyer, you should know that the court observes the way people respond to questions and particularly, the evidence provided/submitted. NDC and Mahama new that NPP could not prove their claim in court and this was quite evidence to those of us who followed the proceedings in court and the comments by independent legal personnel inside and outside Ghana. So, owusu afriyie the verdict was no surprise to majority of objective thinking people. I am not surprised that you are not one of these people. Many of my friends, who are NPP sympathisers openly admitted to defeat on their party's performance in court. You were seriously, politically blind thus, your comment which no surprise to the average Ghanaian. Prez. Mahama and his vice, Amissah-Arthur were not as blind as you they have the intelligence to know the outcome. Come again owusu afriyie.

There is nothing wrong with one having a positive anticipatory result of an awaited pronouncement. In this case the President and his vice were right while sir John's forecast with respect to the 2012 elections were foolishly wrong. Owusu Afriyie must stop impugning the integrity of the judges by implying somebody must have given prior knowledge of the judgement to the President. Akuffo Addo does not validate the Presidency of Mahama by congratulating him, the people of Ghana spoke and that was enough.

He missed jail due to the level headedness of justice Atuguba, and the reasons are obvious. I have had cause, through this same medium to state that, if the NPP, seen as an Akan party, ever wants to come to power, they mckly rid themselves of the likes of this Kwadwo boy. Ghanaians are not fools, and Akans make up barely 50% of the population. I would urge the top brass of the NPP to heed the call of Nyaho-Tamakloe if that party hopes to come to power in the distant future.

The article by one Gyamfi I am not sure if I got his name right appealing to Nana Akufo Ado to withdraw the petition. And the other by RT on the possible out come of the case. For me those two felt like an" insider story". I dare say that the one by Gyamfi was very pointed to a loss by the npp. But in any case the president has consistently said he won the election fairly. He also said it was a victory for Ghana.He may have won white for several reasons other I anticipation of victory. We must not forget that during this period the image of Ghana was dented by demonstrations, people lost property, and investors sat on the fence waiting for the outcome.I think all Ghanaians should have won white for the fact that Ghana could now move on.

Any good lawyer will tell you NPP had no case. Even REUTERS said Mahama was going to win. Sir John is a disgrace to the Ghana Bar Association. Any NPP activist could easily give his ballot from Kumasi or Aburi to be used together by another NPP fan registered in Odododiodoo so as to attain a situation of more ballots in the box than the number verified biometrically and then the claim over vote in court. Also an NPP agent acting as a Presiding Officer can secretly allow presidential ballots to be contaminated by parliamentary ballots even by a single vote or two and claim ignorance so as to take advantage of the situation and cancel results of the areas Mahama won. This is possible so how can NPP prove that the over voting was done with the knowledge of the NDC or EC or both? On this line of defence by an attorney honest judges will have no option than to truthfully arrive at 9-0. On the issue of signatures of Presiding Officers not being on the Pink Sheets it should again be 9-0 because Bawumiah was made to read five times in court about the EC law which states that votes cannot be invalidated if a presiding officer does not sign and all other party agents have signed. On Voting without biometric Verification it should also be 9-0 as NPP could not bring any hard evidence of someone who voted without being verified biometrically. They could not even produce anyone of that nature in their affidavit. Ghost polling stations should be 9-0 because the pink sheets of those stations had signatures of NPP agents and above all a letter to the EC from NPP informing them of an agent who will be manning one of those ghost stations. Initially NPP claimed the letter was forged because it was written on the 5th but received on the 3rd of the same month. However it was shown the letter was post-dated and a circumstance which can happen just like a post-dated cheque.
With the pink sheets, the EC is the author and reserves the right to interpret so the EC is the determining factor here and like they said "Codes and not serial numbers were used". The judges proved why some areas had the same codes as they were small and neighbours. Again 9-0 is the right answer. Now with duplicate serial numbers on Pink sheets it should be 9-0 as the serial numbers were from the Printing Press outside Ghana and had nothing to do with areas therefore no rigging or fraud. If a ten cedi note and a fifty cedi note have the same serial number it does not mean they are both of the same value or the ten cedi can be exchanged for fifty. The serial numbers do not come into play here, it is the 10 and the 50 which are printed on the notes that help identify the note and not the serial numbers therefore the identifier in that group called money is the monetary value and not the serial numbers. VERDICT is therefore 9-0 on all aspects. Sir John even if your parents ate worms to give birth to you, you should still be clever as worms contain a lot of proteins. YOU ALL NEED THE FREE SHS AS EDUCATED FOOLS. IT IS PEOPLE LIKE YOU THAT MAKE MILITARY COUPS HAPPEN SO THAT A FEW SLAPS WILL BRING YOUR SENSES AND GUMPTIONS BACK TO LIFE!!! Even the illiterates you were inciting to war will understand this. You are a waste of Ghana's tax payers’ money. ODODODIODOO is full of poor but clever and proud people and we trust NII LANTEY so be warned as we will pay you back for attempting to invalidate our POWERFUL VOTES!!!
