Mr. President, is not time that the government do something about the free accomodation, free transportation free meals and so many free things given to the thousands of government officials at the expense of the suffering masses who find it difficult to get through life necessities? We are saddled with huge taxes of various kinds, people are finding it hard to pay and provide for their children's education and here we see the Ministers, their deputies and their Principal Secretaries getting free accomodation, free cars and with supply of free fuels, what an injustice metted out to the poor people? Even the developed countries with all their buoyant economies does not provide free accomodation and free cars to their mininters. The many Senators who go to Washington to work rent and pay for their own hotel accomodation. They drive their own cars. How come that the people hired by the public to work for and protect their intrest have turned round to subject the owners of the land and its properties into slavery and looting all the resources of the land. Ghana, its time we rise up from our deep slumber and start shaping our kind of governace. Corruption everywhere.

The first time corrupt and failed Dramani Mahama, an incompetent President of Ghana has said something right, but what we are asking is this, will this orders be adhered to or is just the say empty promises and
to cadjole the majority people of this nation for his own selfish ingterest as usual.
Mahama, the same as the Late Atta Mills gives orders but no one take
such orders from the President serious
because those whose duty it is to take such orders serious sees the President as corrupt and a thief who
has no credibility, leadership qualities, discipline and rule of law
powers.
How many times has Mahama gave some orders to his NDC crooks and he Mahama's orders given has been ignored? These orders given by Mahama
to we the civilized citizenry can
term it as fuss and shit and it would not be taken serious by his own Ministgers and MPs and his NDC bunch of criminals, and it is said just to
make Ghanaian people feels Oh! yes
President has said something nice, it
is only an idiot who will think just that.
Which ordinary Ghanaian will go to a Minister's house, a house of any Government official, an MPs house or
Asiedu-Nketia's house to check if they
are operating the use of electicity
by pre-paid meter? Oh! Ghanaians we
should not allow ourselves to be fooled by this deceitful, a liar and dishonest President in our country today, Mahama is a crook, today Ghana
Commercial Bank has been sold to a Nigerian, where are we going from here Ghanaian people?

This directives and all manner of cost reduction is still not going to reduce the budget deficit WHY? Gov't workers will continue to embark on strikes to demand for better services. Some gov't workers or organizations lay down their tools on purpose and it is understandable WHY? When the oil started to flow in 2012 and revenue started pouring into gov't chest they quickly jumped to increase over 100% the salaries of MPs, Ministers, and the President and vice thinking that Ghana's fiscal problems are now solved. That is wickedness because their actions showed that they never think about Ghanaians in general but themselves. They thought the oil money will double the size of their budget with surplus and here we are. With all the money coming in from the oil the gov't is having a budget deficit. The wage bill is too much to bear. People in other sectors feel like they are cheated because you cannot increase MPs and executive salaries over 100%. Aside the MPs pay, some of them still embezzle the common fund given them to develop their constituents. So you see how their common sense is taking them to. Ghana is downgraded from B+ to B and may continue down the trend. People who are working to bring revenue to the gov't are stilling the money because they felt like they have been cheated by the politicians. So the corruption continues unabated. From January 2012 up to date count the number of strikes and demonstrations in Ghana and see if it was right for them to have increase the MPS salary to over GHc7000 a month with everything free at their disposal. Some teachers and other gov't workers are not paid GHc1000 a month and they manage to pay their own bills. I don't really know unless someone tell me that the high salary paid to MPs are a form of compensation to them after they have used monies to bribe the electorates to vote for them. This country is pity. They cannot even subsidized agricultural inputs for farmers to get necessary yield. Even people don't want to farm these days, everyone want an easy way out. Big trouble now and then.

Good move but if I were the president I would think about all the other freebees top civil servants get upon stealing from the government while the poor average Ghanaian struggles to have those services.
On the other hand, do not forget about the large deposits of bauxite that we have and start something in prospect to jump start an industrial revolution. There is a link between these deposits, VRA and our new found oil. If you start on this line of development, the earlier the better because by the end of your three year term, Ghanaians would start to feel the positive impact it would be.
Mr. president, if I were you I would ask my top team brainstorm on how to find the link amongst the huge amount of bauxite, VRA and oil that we have now. If you find the link, galamsey may eventually disappear so we could have our lands and rivers back.\
This is my free advice even to the next government if they want to move the nation forward.

This is laudable but the next to be considered is these security personnel, the Police and the Military Barracks. I think the Barracks should be provided with compound lights to be part of street light levy. But in individual apartment, the personnel who are occupants of these apartment should be paying for whatever power they consumed. This has become necessary because, these security personnel have taken advantage of the current non-tariff payment to misuse the power at the various Barracks. Some, the wives use it to power heavy deep freezers for selling drinks and iced waters. Some have air- conditioners in their rooms which they use 24 hours a day. Look at the salary levels of these personnel, they are the highest paid workers in the Government payroll. Compare their salaries to that of civil servants, but civil servants are those who have been burdened to pay for all these wastage.
The most annoying aspect is, these police officers are still on the roads and their main duty is to be extorting money from divers.
It is unfair to keep practicing injustices in this country. The civil servants are also human beings and should be treated as such. I beg to say this one on politics. Thank you

The president has talked but it will be left on the shelves of rhetorics. Will anybody ensure to the letter that this instruction is carried out? There is not equity in our system at all. Many of us will be pushed to the background because we tend to limit ourselves issues which directly affect us. In that case nobody will not be ready to assist on any matter which does not affect him/her directly. When you fight for a cause and it is successful, the benefits goes to all. It is important that we all join and fight for a cause which good spreads across.
It is just enough for the president to give an order and go to sleep. If he believes in something he should go the full length and ensure his orders see the light of day.
The next time this issue comes up for discussion, let one say it was this president who rectified the situation.
