This is long overdue. The selfish foresters who know that there shouldn't be exploitation in the savannah allowed it because of their pockets.God is watching them.

Baning of harvest and exportation of rosewood is like making some percentage of people unexpected blind, increase of jobless in the country.moreover, rosewood is classified under others and have no sientific name. Also, rosewood is being used by the farmers to produce charcoal and firewood which income is only ghc 20.00 where by same wood for charcoal is making ghc 2400.00 to the nation per each container treated as confiscated .then why not ban charcoal burning and maintained the exportation for that to make a high income to the nation.in point of erosion rosewood is a tree after failing,it re-germinate again so failing can not cause erosion us they are saying . continuation of the ban,can also increase stealing. To my point of view.please our Government to lift the ban with roles and regulation to abide the work as well in our motherland Ghana.God bless you all.
