I have never been and will never knowingly support this guy's party because of its "matemeho" history but I have always been impressed by him. I would find it extremely challenging to maintain my anti-NPP stance if there were a few more like him in the party. I know its not right but I have to confess that I have a closed mind about NPP and would normally not read anything about it. This man made me read this.

It seems if a close relative of yours died in a lorry accident, you will never travel with a lorry or any vehicle. Think and let sleeping dogs lie. Since when did someone from NPP throw a bomb that you witnessed? Stop dwelling in the past and move on. Today, Japan and the US, who swore to annihilate the other, have moved past that time and have become closed allies with a common goal to lead the world.
The US fought a senseless war in Vietnam and killed thousands but are still dwelling on the past? The US and the leaders of that nation have moved past those days. Think and stop digging for dead bones. Remember that "dead men do not bite".
You can sit a spot and refuse to move and before you realize, you are surrounded by growing weeds.
The first man who attempted to kill Nkrumah was Ametepe and who was he? If you know the history of the Kulungugu bombing, and with an open mind to dig deep into how it took place, you will understand that the opposition had no hands in it but as people who refuse to analyze things with an open mind, we are always bias and blame someone.
If Nkrumah was alive, he himself would have questioned some of his policies. We are in the 21st century and someone can pick up a phone and talk to someone in New Zealand instantly. Was that possible during the days of Nkrumah? Come on man.

I would like to pose a question for you, Nana Ntow.
Looking at the precarious situation in Ghana, if all NPP delegates are to assemble at one particular city or Town to vote for their Party leaders and for the Presidential Nominee, who then will bear all the cost of expenditure, namely;
Traveling cost +
Accomodation cost +
Food and Drinks cost +
Other Implicit and Explicit cost
----------------------------------
Total Cost
-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------
In my view, this allege new proposal will help to reduce the *Vote-Buying" problem that has become a burden for the party, if delegates are advice to stay home and cast their vote without becoming a prey to certain corrupt Aspirants who may influence, or buy them in the form of sponsoring for their Traveling and Accomodation and Food cost.
In a general perspective, this will help the party to test the popularity of it's candidates among the electorates on the ground.
It will also help the party to know the true strength of the candidates.
Above all, Aunt Ashittu of Tamale and Uncle Bokitey of Accra wont have to forgo their daily bussiness , or neglect their school going children and family by traveling all the way from home to Secondi-Takoradi just to choose a candidate.
Decentralization is one of the main ingredients of good governance and democracy, so I wonder why a person who calls himself an NPP and a democrat is so vehemently against a Decentralization process.
In the United States of America ,forinstance , presidential Nominees of the Parties are chosen on State levels with "Primaries" in different Time-Tables to know the real nominees before they finally gather in one particular state with the accorded delegates based upon the people' decision made to deliver the over all choice.
It may be a bit expensive for the party ,but less cost for the people.
Which is why party members pay some monthly dues to help keep the party running.
It is a win win situation for the party to become more popular among the people on the ground.
I opt for decentralization at all times because, I'm a democrat.

You said," In the early part of January, 2013, did you not hear one of your fellow baby elephants calling on your mother elephants to allow you to throw bombs at school to kill innocent school children"? Now, my answer to you is did you also hear anyone throwing any bomb or did you witness anyone throwing any bomb anywhere in Ghana? Yes or No? As I said in my earlier posting, stop living in the past because we are in the 21st century. Kennedy and Sammy Awuku, later retracted and apologized for making those stupid and unpardonable threats.
When politicians used such empty threats or whatever to fool the innocents, those who are abreast with facts, should not wade into it.

If a decision by the national executives of NPP is considering decentralizing its delegate conferences to regions, then it is a laudable idea that needs to be embraced. All over the world, politics is said to get LOCAL. Elections are won locally. Just reflect on the just ended election petition. A strong local and regional party structure makes the party strong overall. People in the region then see it as their own, and invest in it. This should culminate in an enlarged electoral college to involve all paid up card carrying members of the party. This makes mobilization and fund raising possible and easier. This can decrease the bribery and manipulation that goes on during the process of electing officers. Factionalism can be reduced, or it's effect minimized. Definitely at the end of the regional delegates conferences! there must be a National conference to coronate the elected flagbearer. Nana Ohene Ntow, you are therefore wrong. This cannot be said to be a monstrous law by any stretch of your imagination. The party must grow, and it must grow with its members having greater stake in its operations. Regions must bear greater responsibilities than they have currently.

Absolutely. Ghanaians need the drill ship money and they also need all the monies that NDC siphoned to their cronies like Woyome who they labeled as "party financier". How many times is the drill ship money to that of what NDC gave to Woyome, Isofoton, Gyeeda, SADA, Subha? Tell your party officials to come out with all these monies.
You have stalwarts like Barton Oduro and Newman Martey who are knee deep into the Woyome saga yet, they are walking free with Barton Oduro as deputy speaker of parliament. Make sense? When NDC found out that the late president Mills was trying to stop such reckless payments, they have no option but to kill him and place his body in a maternity ward. Was the president pregnant and who impregnated him? Where other than in Ghana that a president died and all effort were made not to investigate his death? Doing that will implicate some people and let Ghanaians know the sort of people who are ruling them. Tweakai.
